De-escalation Training

This course prepares security teams to effectively respond to an active shooter threat before law enforcement arrives. Training focuses on rapid threat assessment, coordinated team response, evacuation procedures, casualty care, and communication under stress. Participants learn how to contain and neutralize threats, protect civilians, and support first responders upon arrival—all while prioritizing safety and minimizing liability.

De-escalation training is a form of instruction focused on equipping individuals with the skills and strategies to manage and diffuse potentially volatile situations, often involving conflict or aggression, before they escalate into violence or require more forceful interventions. It emphasizes communication and behavioral techniques to reduce tension and promote a peaceful resolution.
